Rank structure

Enlisted Body

Recruit Starting rank of CAB.
Private Junior members, still have a lot to learn.
Private First Class Competent members of CAB.
Lance Corporal Skilled members of CAB — the highest rank before being handpicked.
Corporal The most skilled of junior enlisted. Handpicked based on skill and obedience.

Non-Commissioned Officer Corps

Sergeant Beginning NCO rank. Learning how to lead in battles and host recruit trainings.
Staff Sergeant Experienced NCOs. Good at leading and teaching.
Master Sergeant Veteran NCOs. Experts at leading and teaching; an ideal officer candidate.
Sergeant Major Highest NCO rank. Honorary title for retired HIGHCOM and active logistics personnel.

Commissioned Officer Corps

Provisionary Officer Junior officers undergoing the officer training course.
Second Lieutenant Regular officers, and the bulk of the officer corps.
First Lieutenant Experienced officers who have proven their dedication and time to CAB.
Captain Veteran officers — the tip of the spear when it comes to leadership and skill.

Battalion High Command

Major Third-in-command of the battalion. Leads a detachment under CAB.
Lieutenant Colonel Rank in between Major and Colonel — the newest addition to the high command.
Colonel Second-in-command of the battalion. Currently vacant.
General First-in-command of the entire battalion, ensuring all operations run smoothly.

Combined Arms Battalion Main division role.
CAB Logistics Officer Personnel who manage the logistics of promotions.
CAB Commissioned Officer COs who host trainings and battles.
CAB Non-Commissioned Officer NCOs who teach recruits and lead crews in battle.

Progression requirements

Recommendations are logged by logistics officers. Speak to a Logistics Officer or the Quartermaster to check your count.

Enlisted & NCO

Recruit Join CAB.
Private Pass a Recruit Training.
Private First Class 5 Recommendations.
Lance Corporal 8 Recommendations, plus completion of the Lance Corporal Quiz.
Corporal 10 Recommendations, plus a handwritten nomination from a Commissioned Officer.
Sergeant 18 Recommendations, a handwritten nomination from a CO, and a microphone — required.
Staff Sergeant 22 Recommendations, lead 4 crews, host 6 recruit trainings (2 shadowed by a CO).
Master Sergeant 26 Recommendations, lead 8 crews, host 12 recruit trainings or 12 co-hosts.
Sergeant Major Handpicked — typically only retired HIGHCOM or current Logistics Officers.

Officer Corps

Provisionary Officer Selected members who have applied through the officer application.
Second Lieutenant Pass the Officer Training Course.
First Lieutenant Handpicked for excellent and notable performance as a 2LT after at least 6 months.
Captain Handpicked for excellent and notable performance as a 1LT after at least a year.

Uniforms

Regulation reminder Formal uniform regulations apply during monthly rallies, ceremonies and while recruiting. If you do not own the correct uniform, request funding.

Formal Uniforms

CAB Service Dress Greens

The main uniform worn during ceremonies. Comes with trousers or a skirt.

24th Naval Dress Whites

Formal uniform of the 24th Naval Company. Enlisted version with jumper; officer version with tunic.

10th Service Dress Blues

Formal uniform of the 10th Naval Air Squadron. Comes with trousers or a skirt.

Combat & Other Uniforms

CAB Field Dress Khakis

Khaki version of the dress greens. Worn by logistics officers, or anyone during desert battles.

18th Mechanised Service Tunic

Combat uniform for all members of the 18th Legionary Mechanised Company.

212th Mechanised Greatcoat

Combat uniform for the 212th Ace Mechanised Company. Also worn by all armoured officers in battle.

7th Engineering Service Tunic

Combat uniform for all members of the 7th Legionary Engineering Company.

24th Naval Service Greatcoat

Blue greatcoat worn by 24th members to differentiate themselves from enemies who wear white.

10th Field Dress Blues

Combat uniform for all members of the 10th Naval Air Squadron.

Formal regulations

  • Only formal uniforms should be worn to formal events. If you do not own one, request funding.
  • Keep your appearance tidy — no wings, shields, burger king crowns, or unusual accessories. Only appropriate headgear: black beret, white dixie cup, or blue beret. Face accessories should be neat and realistic.
  • If your uniform has rank variations, wear the up-to-date version for your rank. No UGC police chevrons. No accessories restricted to officers — peaked caps, belts, swords — unless you are an officer.
  • If you have ribbons, wear them to formal events. Ensure your rack is updated and matches your uniform type. Hair should not cover any ribbons.

Order of Legionaries

The highest achievement within the battalion, awarded by General Veronica as she deems fit.

Distinguished Service Medal

Excellent performance and service with CAB as a whole, awarded by High Command.

Valor at Sea

Excellent performance in naval warfare, awarded by Fleet Admiral Sunriswee.

Land's Merit

Excellent performance in armoured warfare, awarded by Armoured Brigadier Surep21.

Hero of the Sky

Excellent performance in aerial warfare, awarded by Air Commander Sammy.

Creator's Honor

Excellent service within the interior — artwork or logistics. Awarded by the General, Head of Logistics, or the Quartermaster.

Participation & minor achievements

Veteran Ribbon Awarded for being in CAB for 1, 2, or 3 years. The only tiered ribbon currently available.
Scottish War Ribbon Given to those who participated in the Scotland War in 2023 against Plastic Scots.
Campaign of Piracy Ribbon Participated in any naval battles on pirate or Napoleonic games.
Booster Ribbon Given to those boosting the Legionary Vostannia Divisions server.
Naval Service Ribbon Awarded by Naval Command for proven dedication and skill in the naval field.
Good Conduct Ribbon Awarded for obtaining 20 Good Conduct Recommendations. Check with a logistics officer or quartermaster.
Logistical Personnel Ribbon Given to all current and former Logistics Officers.
World Simulation Ribbon Given to those who participated in any of the Worldsim Campaigns.
Monolith Destruction Ribbon Awarded for participating in the battle against Monolith on 8/10/24.
Officer Ribbon Awarded for reaching the rank of Second Lieutenant.
NCO Ribbon Awarded for reaching the rank of Sergeant.
NS Engagement Ribbon Given to those who have fought against the Noobic Stratocracy, formerly the 3rd Noob Division. All battles against any of their divisions count.
Vostradia Campaign Ribbon Given to those who have assisted Vostradia in any Liberation battles.
'The W' Ribbon Participated in CL's campaign on The W, also known as GB-39A 'Gresben'.
Khorn Veteran Ribbon Given to those who were in Khorn, the naval predecessor to CAB.
7SPAR Veteran Ribbon Given to those who were in 7SPAR, the armoured predecessor to CAB.
Narrow Victory Ribbon Given for participating in a victory where CAB won by a narrow margin. Currently only applies to the CL vs Plastic Scots battle on 12/20/2025.
Propaganda Production Ribbon Given to those who assisted in the propaganda recordings in January 2026.
Developer Ribbon Given to those who have been part of the development team for CAB.
