Overview

The 18th Legionary Mechanised Company is the battalion's main fighting force, made up of tankers specialised in Multicrew Tank Combat 4. The 18th forms the armoured backbone of the Combined Arms Battalion, regularly taking the field in professional battles against opposing groups.

To join, applicants must pass a tryout by accumulating 2 points worth of qualifications from the list below. Submit your tryout request in MTC tryout request on Discord.

Standard expected

Crew role

Given 1–3 other crewmen of similar skill, should be able to highscore or topscore a public server easily.

Support role

Given their tools — points for artillery, a decent map for infantry — should be able to assist an average 18th crew to the point of one of its members topscoring or completely dominating a public server.

Qualifications

To become an 18th member your qualifications must add up to 2 points total.

Knowledge and usage of accurate gear shift, RPM gauge, positioning strategies and tank angling. On a high level — commanding and spotting while driving without issues.

Accurate callouts of movement, leadership over the crew, spotting and relaying info. On a high level — commanding multiple crews to work together on a small scale, such as attacking a dug-in enemy tank.

General support — 1 point each

Combat Infantry

Knowledge and usage of infantry tactics and differences between game modes, tank weakspots, and the ability to operate alone. On a high level — completely denying enemy advancement over a specific area of the map.

Extra Support

Judged by the officer, mostly for support roles too specialised to receive a standard qualification. On a high level — game impact comparable to general support.
